We offer a uniquely original range of Malay wedding and
formal wear created by our principal designer Shamsu Yusof.
Based on traditional forms, each baju has an element that
makes is unmistakeably special.
Shamsu is equally happy to work with your own fabrics
or with fabrics from our hand-picked collection sourced
from around the world.
Baju Nikah
These days, many Malay brides choose a white baju
nikah. But naturally you want yours to be remembered when
other people’s are forgotten! Which means that yours
must be different. Shamsu specialises in designing distinctively
different baju that reflect your personality.
But white is not the only option. Don’t be afraid
to use colour – for example to complement your colour
theme. And remember, a coloured baju (unlike a white one)
can be worn more than once!
Baju Bersanding
Your baju bersanding must not only accentuate all your
best features, it must stand out against your pelamin
and look stunning in photographs and on video. Before
you decide on a design, Shamsu will personally advise
you in detail on fabric, colour, cut, beading, embroidery
and kerawang work.
To complement the bride’s baju, we also design and
make the groom’s outfits.
Formal Wear
Whatever the occasion, you want to look - and feel - like
a million dollars. Shamsu’s approach blends traditional
with contemporary to create one-off designs, whether of
classic simplicity, or spectacularly hand-embroidered
and sewn with Swarovski crystals. |
